125 Team Update
There is a group looking ahead to our 125th anniversary, discussing such questions as “Who are we?” “Who does God want us to be in five years?” and, “What will it take to get us there?”

Regarding the first question, Calvary has been seeking a short and sweet identity statement for some time and, with input from others, the 125 Team sets forth this statement both to identify for others what is important to us and to guide us in our work for Christ: “Loving God, Exploring Faith, Serving Others.” Loving God comes first as our aspiration and our reality. We show our love to God through worship and giving and using our talents. We Explore Faith together, through each worship service’s scripture focus and through small group Bible and book studies. Loving God and Exploring Faith lead us to Serve Others, with the strength and power of Jesus Christ, our Lord.

The 125 Team is Nathan White, Joyce Waugh, Cara Sutherland, Patrick Stanley, Jenny Call, Gail Burruss, and Donna Britt. We look forward to letting this statement guide our journey of faith together.
