Our community gathers weekly to remember and thank God for our many gifts, to pray for needs nearby and around the world, to confess our failures and soak up God’s forgiveness, and to gain strength and courage from each other to be God’s hands and feet wherever we are the other 167 hours during the week.
Dress however you’d like for worship. Some wear dresses or suits; others wear jeans and sneakers. All are welcome.
Children are integrated into the worship service with a special children’s message. Following the children’s sermon, the children, preschool through grade one, may go to Children’s Church. Guests are welcome!
Calvary’s style of worship is traditional—including prayers, hymns, a great choir, and a sermon—with a few surprises now and then. The services last approximately an hour.
Special evening services of worship are held on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Christmas Eve.
